The Hixon Center is pleased to support the Urban Climate Leadership Certificate. With lectures from world-renowned professors and practitioners as well as weekly live sessions on Zoom, participants in this rigorous 9-month online program expand their networks, deepen their knowledge, and gain the skills and versatility needed to accelerate climate solutions.

Urban Resources Initiative

Urban Resources Initiative (URI) is a university not-for-profit partnership actively engaged in community  forestry activities throughout New Haven.
URI is both a program of the Yale School of the Environment as well as a nonprofit guided by a local board of directors. URI empowers and supports communities in the restoration, stewardship and enjoyment of the urban forest and nature in New Haven.
