Ian French

Ian French is the Director of Communications and External Relationships for the Hixon Center. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from Yale-NUS College in Singapore, and a Master of Environmental Management (MEM) from the Yale School of the Environment. Ian believes that cities are the crucial unit for addressing the climate crisis, and he is especially passionate about exploring the problems and possibilities of coastal cities. He finds hope in equitable science-backed solutions that revitalize ecosystems while centering communities and long-term resilience.
