Caroline Sgaglione
Practitioner Networks Coordinator
Caroline is a second-year master’s student in Urban Systems at Yale School of Environment. She is the Networks Practitioner Coordinator for the Hixon Center and engages with global professionals on urban climate solutions. Caroline is also a Visiting Research Student with the MIT Senseable City Lab and uses computational research, sensor technologies, and qualitative observations to explore the interconnections between street typologies and mobility behavior. Her research aims to better understand how and where shade is provisioned to address urban heat disparities. Caroline believes that integrating human experiences into planning and design is key for a climate ready city.
