Come join us at Hotel Marcel for an insightful discussion on the importance of public green spaces in urban areas with a focus on looking towards the future. Learn about the benefits of green spaces, how they impact our environment, and why they are crucial for our well-being. This in-person event will feature expert speakers, Sophie van Haselberg of the New York Restoration Project, Sarah Charlop-Powers, Executive Director of the Natural Areas Conservancy, Eric Sanderson, landscape ecologist and VP for Urban Conservation Strategy at the New York Botanical Garden and Lynn Kelly, Executive Director, New York Restoration Project. Moderated by Colleen Murphy-Dunning, Program Director of the Hixon Center for Urban Sustainability, Urban Resource Initiative.
